PTP was founded by Hilary Simon, an industrialist with over three decades of experience across Asia, Europe, America and the Middle East, and a long record in business development. The company was started as part of his global expansion in engineering solutions.

Traditionally, powder handling systems in India are sourced in piecemeal fashion—silos from one vendor, conveying from another, and controls from a third. This fragmented approach leads to integration gaps, timeline delays, and a lack of single-source accountability when issues arise.
